How to create Google Shopping Campaigns in ShoppingFeeder

Google Shopping is immensely popular among retailers because shoppers are able to compare products based on certain attributes like price, colour, size, and so on. This means that once shopper shave applied all their search filters, the products that show up in the shopping tab are much more likely to lead to conversion. Listing on Google Shopping essentially means access to better qualified leads. To create your shopping ads, you will need to create a Google Shopping campaign in ShoppingFeeder. Follow the guide below: 

Before you can create a shopping campaign, you need to have completed the following: 

  1. Subscribe to a google channel 

  2. Set up a google merchant center and google ad accounts 

  3. Add your feed to the merchant center 

  4. Connect your merchant center and ad accounts in ShoppingFeeder

With these initial steps out of the way, you can begin creating your shopping campaign. 

Step 1: Log into ShoppingFeeder and go to Manage Channels > Manage Google. Then click on Google Ads.



Step 2: Click on Campaigns 


 Step 3: Click on Create Campaign 


Step 4: Select Country where your products are sold as well as your campaign subtype


Step 5.1: Set campaign details (Smart campaign) 

For Smart Campaigns, you need to select a daily budget and set a Campaign Name. Then click Publish.



Step 5.2: Choose your campaign settings (Smart campaigns) 

Click on the campaign you just created to open the Settings page. 


Under Settings you can set a Target ROAS or choose to Ignore ROAS. Also choose your campaign priority. Then click Save. 


Step 5.3: Set campaign details (Standard campaign) 

Enter your maximum Cost-per-click (CPC) and your daily campaign budget. Then click Publish. 


Step 5.4: Choose campaign settings (Standard campaign) 

Set your campaign priority and campaign start date, then click Save. 


Now you can view your Shopping Campaigns from your campaign dashboard! See your Total CPC, Clicks, Impressions, Conversions and Total Cost.
