In this step-by-step guide, we will show you how to install and setup ShoppingFeeder in OpenCart3.

You'll need to have an OpenCart account and store to use the guide below.

Step 1: Log into ShoppingFeeder and run the setup wizard

On your first login, the setup wizard will appear automatically. If not, follow this link: https://www.shoppingfeeder.com/app#feed?item=setup

The setup wizard will prompt you to enter your store's URL. Simply enter your URL and select OpenCart3 as your shopping cart platform.

If you do not know your OpenCart store URL, click here for instructions.

Continue through the setup wizard until you get to the stage "Connect to store". Here you will be given an API key and API secret as marked in the red boxes below- make sure you copy or screenshot these for later.

Click on step 1 of the instructions in the setup wizard: Click here to get the plugin/module to download the ShoppingFeeder plugin.

Step 2: Upload the plugin on your server

Now it's time to upload the plugin onto your website server. (Note: everyone's server looks different).

Log into your server and go to your website folder. The ShoppingFeeder files you've downloaded, as shown below, mimic the file structure in your website folder.

In your website folder, you will have an upload folder- click on that. Your server may differ slightly from this example, in which case you can upload the plugin in the website root folder instead.

Now upload you plugin here- don't worry, each file in the plugin will be uploaded to the corresponding subdirectory.

Click Next on the Setup Wizard, and then click on Check if installed to ensure you uploaded to plugin to your server correctly. If you did everything right, the setup wizard will go on to the next phase: Subscribe to channels.

Step 3: Enable the ShoppingFeeder module in Admin

Log into your OpenCart3 admin dashboard and navigate to Extensions > Extensions.

From the dropdown, select Modules.

Scroll down until you see ShoppingFeeder, then click on the pencil icon to edit the API secret and key.

Enter the API Secret and Key from the Setup Wizard, then click Save.

Step 4: Complete the setup wizard

Now simply return to ShoppingFeeder and complete the setup wizard, following the prompts.
